Entry relays blocked by a national network operator

A national network operator began blocking every listed entry relay. Clients in the country switched to bridges.

What happened

A national network operator in the region began blocking connections to every entry relay in the public directory. Clients there detected the block and switched to bridges, which are not listed, as they are designed to. Delivery was slow for about four hours while clients moved.

We do not name the country, to avoid helping anyone build a list of where bridges are most in use.
