About this relay
A mailbox relay in the moratorium’s own building in Zürich. In October 2026 it briefly reported a series of older and older software versions; after the operator replaced the hardware it has been stable.
As a transit relay, it passes messages between other relays, and sees only where each one came from and where it goes next. As a mailbox relay, it holds encrypted messages until their recipients collect them, and deletes each one once it has been collected, or after thirty days.
It is in service and carrying traffic.

Joined the directory on probation.
Completed probation and listed for full traffic.
Upgraded to relay software 3.0.
Upgraded to relay software 4.0.0.
Began reporting relay software 3.9.4, although no change had been made. Withdrawn from new routes while the operator investigated.

Operator replaced the hardware. The new machine reports relay software 4.0.1 and returned to service the same day.
Frothly and the operator examined the old machine together. No cause has been found. It is being kept.
